The Indiana Mid-America
Association of Educational Opportunity Program Personnel (I-MAEOPP),
a chapter of the Mid-America Association of Educational Opportunity
Program Personnel
(MAEOPP).
which is one of 10 regional associations recognized
by the
Council
for Opportunity in
Education (COE) advocates on behalf of first generation, low
income, and students with disabilities that participate in Indiana TRiO programs.

The purpose of the
Indiana Chapter is to bring together into a work and study community
those administrators, counselors,
advisors, and teachers who have an active interest in or
who are professionally involved in broadening accessibility to and
assuring success in formal post
secondary education.
The Indiana chapter sponsors a variety of
activities throughout the year, including professional development
conferences, workshops, and training sessions, as well as policy
research. The I-MAEOPP Board
of Directors is elected annually by the state membership.
